Using the colours of "Drift I" and overpainting previous layers this painting benefits by scale, texture and - with underlying layers shining through - an enhanced complexity . The softly veiled turquoise blobs harmonise particularly well.
A rich piece - I am particularly pleased with how the strength of the central light area is reigned in, but still allowed to provide a confident lift to the overall work.
