Another example of the stripes off-shoot of my work - again neighbouring the neutrality of a buff titanium (this time in thinner bands, and in a set of just three paintings) against a number of other colours ranging from Raw Umber through to Caput Mortuum. Drawing on the successful passages from the previous set of nine, the different neighbourings pleasingly effect the look of the Buff Titanium as it seems to rise and fall in both tone and warmth.
A gentle and interesting group, commenting on simple colour combination.
