"Skies (diptych)"

Following on from "Fields" this pair of small square canvasses use fleshy pinks on a caramelly raw sienna base, overlaid with the deep and translucent sap green. Tones are successful with good balance of both contrast against the green, and likeness within the pinks and sienna.
With landscape overtones, and main drive coming from the pinks; this pair is evokative of a dusky sky glowing down upon an overshadowed landscape below.
