"Pebbles"

This painting represents a bit of a shift from my tradional approach. Figuratively derived, but still enjoying my lively and varied application. The colours seen in pebbles, stone, seaweed and worn glass allow for a far varied and richer palette than I would have used in my tighter controlled abstracts. An enjoyable and interesting work which took some time and many sittings to reach completion. possibly my most ambitious piece to date.
