Alot of my life-studies have obviously been preparatory for painting purposes. They therefore are not finished works in themselves but simply aim, for referance purposes, to record shape, edge, border, and areas of tone & hue. The graphic vocabulary I have developed and use for this purpose has produced some interesting, honest and informative works which show particular attention to the entire picture plane.
