"Horizontal II"

In this work a strong "Cobalt Violet Hue" which had been gesturally brushed down is quitened by a broad application of broken "Olive Green". The base violet darkly glances through, and the light yellow of "Beige" sits comfortably upon the bottom area, bridging the spectrum toward the warmer yellow above. Raw umber centre provides tonal contrast.
This is a pleasing continuation of the horizontal theme - purposeful colour choice and powerful unaffected application has been maintained.
