Despite having undergone alot more work than one would think, there is a freshness and subtlety in this piece; both from the delicate green and blue tinges at top, denim-like lower section, and the close-toned overpainting. Relief is given by the bold surface paint application - four different broken yellows which react differently according to the base they lie on, or the neighbour. A strong but subtle work.
