"Divide III flesh ochre".
Oil on canvas.
Lovely feminine piece this one. I am particular pleased with the way the pale rubbed-off area middle right gently interacts with the very heavily brush applied flesh ochre laid on top. Unified then with the pale broken yellow lines, and balanced with the other side of the piece by reversal of colours. Lifted by the small area of red boldly flashing through, and given a sparkle with the drops of pure crimson adorning the suface, which have been deliciously likened to dried cranberries!
A particularly pleasing piece that stands very strongly within this series of works.
