There is alot of success in this small piece. Of particular note is the soft thick fleshy brushed area.
Using fleshy tones is a string in my work (see those here) which I hope to develop: drawing on a sense of physicality; commenting on boundary, edge, surface, tension and force.
This is, for me, a significant little piece.
