I love this piece. The central "band" is actually more a lack of colour, and for that benefits by a soft and sensual feel. The grey purple and soft blue lines top are confidently struck and have sufficient hue difference to work together with such close tones. The yellow there echoes the lower section, giving balance with it's warmer oranges and browns peeping through.
This is a style I feel I can pursue indefinitely. I look forward to exploring the infinite variety of colour combinations that can be discovered and enjoyed.
